Rainbow Budgie

Behaviour: highly social, active, and voca

Breeding notes:   In order to create a violet-scented, yellow-headed, white-winged bird, rainbow budgies are bred by merging four distinct mutations: Blue series, Yellowface (type A or II), Clearwing, and Opaline. Using split-gene birds over multiple generations to develop the phenotypic or combining visual rainbow birds with other rainbows or clearwings are important tactics.
