Providing birds with a safe second chance through responsible adoption and lifelong care.

We all know personal situations can change, and sometimes birds are surrendered to us because their owners can't continue to care for them. If you are in this situation, don't hesitate to contact us. Here are some recent surrenders.

Old Dame

No longer breeding and needed a good life to see her out.

Sun Conure Pair

The male was too attached to the human owner and they wouldnt breed.

Bread the first year for previous owner but didnt lay for subsequent three years.

At times we may also purchase birds that are being sold by their owners; your donations assist with this cost and associated costs such as food, care products, cages, and toys. The following are some recent examples of rescue birds.

Balloo (2026)

Balloo is a Blue Fronted Amazon. He has been with his previous mum for 5 years. She recently brought a partner into her home and had a baby. Unfortunately Balloo doesnt get on with either and the owner needed to rehome.

Nigel (2026)

Nigel is our baby Nanjay who has a bit of a dicky foot. He is around 4 months old and still feeds from the spoon every 4 hours.

Ruby’s previous owner was in ongoing hospital care and couldnt take care of her.

Alexandrines (2024)

These guys were brought as a pet however the family didnt understand the propper care required. Both birds were kept in a very small cage which caused them to loose their tails, with no stimulation for two years before the owners decided to sell.
