Behaviour: Funny, acrobatic

Breeding notes: Around age three, caiques reach sexual maturity. Usually, they lay clutches of two to four eggs (and occasionally six), which the female incubates for twenty-seven days. After 60–70 days, the chicks fledge, and within 10–12 weeks, they are self-sufficient.
