Behaviour: Generaly nonchallant although can be agressive when hormonal or unhappy.
Breeding notes: Eclectus parrots are typically thought to as prolific, year-round breeders in captivity. Electus usually produce one or two clutches annually, with two eggs in each clutch. They achieve sexual maturity between the ages of three and five. The incubation period lasts roughly 26 to 28 days. The young usually fledge (leave the nest) between 11 and 13 weeks (around 60 to 85+ days). Nest Preference are deep, dark tree hollows (or comparable deep, vertical nest boxes) that are typically 50 cm deep .
